It’s always nice to put a face to a name or voice, or just to know who you’re dealing with on a daily basis. Here are the people behind GWlegal.
Emma joined GW as an admin assistant in the remortgage department, progressing to a fee earner with her own team, and later becoming a national account manager. She returned to the firm in 2016, after a stint working elsewhere in the industry, as Head of Sales for the property department.
Teresa joined the conveyancing team in 2006. After 18 months with the firm, she moved to the sales team and, given her bubbly personality, it’s no surprise she has remained there since.
Gav may have grown up in Hampshire, but he has truly made Liverpool his adopted home – he joined GW in 2009! He plays a key role in bringing work into our property department and maintaining relationships with introducers and partner organisations.
A specialist property lawyer, Richard joined the firm in 2003 and heads the Equity Release team, advising thousands of clients each year on releasing equity from their homes to support them in retirement. Richard also serves as the firm’s representative at the Equity Release Solicitors Alliance.
Since joining GW as a trainee solicitor in 2002 Kev qualified as a solicitor in 2005 specialising in road traffic accidents. Since then he has risen up the ranks to Personal Injury manager. Kevin is a keen litigator with a focus on high-value and complex road traffic accident claims.
With over 20 years’ legal experience, Claire has worked in every aspect of the PI claim process (office junior, assistant fee earner, fee earner, team leader and now, manager). She oversees all claims that come into the company.
Hayley qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and joined GW a few years’ later. Although she began as a fee earner, she was soon promoted to team leader, then to risk manager and now, she manages the employee liability, public liability, holiday sickness and large loss teams.
